Hungary Permits Matzoth Exports to Poland

The Hungarian authorities have agreed finally to permit shipment of matzoth to Poland, it was announced today by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, a representative of which conducted negotiations for export licenses in Budapest. The American Legation intervened with the authorities on behalf of the J.D.C. Permission to export the Passover food had originally been refused.
