Idelsohn Writes Music to Honor Ussishkin

A composition with a religious motif, written for string quartet by Dr. A. E. Ideisohn, professor of Jewish music, Hebrew Union College, will be played tomorrow at Wise Center in honor of Menahem Ussishkin, founder of the modern Jewish colony in Palestine. Rabbi James G. Heller of Wise Temple will be the chief speaker at the celebration to commemorate Ussishkin’s seventieth birthday.
