Ignace Strasfogel, twenty-four-year-old Jewish pianist, born in Poland and now in residence here, made his local debut under the sponsorship of the Indianapolis Civic Music Association.
Strasfogel studied at the Berlin conservatory and was awarded the Mendelssohn prize for composition. He was assistant director of the Berlin State Opera.
