The number of illegal immigrants to Palestine who cannot be deported will be deducted from the next Palestine immigration schedule, the House of Commons was told yesterday by Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald. The deduction, MacDonald said, will be in accordance with provision in the White Paper on Palestine. He added that he was now consulting with High Commissioner Sir Harold Alfred MacMichael on the schedule for the ensuing half year but could not give details on how the quota would be calculated beyond the deductions for the illegal entrants.
