Widening the political department of the Jewish Agency for Palestine by co-opting a number of leaders of the Jewish community of Palestine was demanded today in view of the present situation at a special conference of Zionist groups.
Rabbi Meier Berlin, head of the Mizrachi orthodox Zionist Organization, David Yellin and other Zionist leaders said the present crisis made it imperative that non-elected members be added to handle political questions.
