The Central Office for the Prosecution of Nazi War Criminals in Ludwigsburg is currently working on an additional 324 preliminary investigations in war crimes cases, it was announced here. Since starting work on December 1, 1958, the central office has processed 1, 033 such preliminary investigations. Of these, 309 cases were transmitted to state prosecutors for trial.
