Official sources here expressed disappointment today over reports that the Council of Ministers of the European Common Market has authorized the EEC executive commission to continue talks with Israel on only three commodities for trade with the six Euromart nations–grapefruit, fertilizers and bathing suits.

While no official report on the decision taken during the two-day meeting of the Council earlier this week has been received in Israel, it was clear that if the reports were true, the directive fell far short of Israel’s hopes for comprehensive customs arrangements with the six nations.
