Israel plans to import 1 billion cubic meters of water from Turkey during the next 20 years. During a meeting between Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and the visiting Turkish energy minister Tuesday, the two nations signed a deal for Israel to import some 20 million cubic meters a year.
