Israel has called for an urgent meeting of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission to consider measures to stem persistent Arab attacks and raids on Jewish settlements in the Jerusalem corridor.
In a letter to Col. Bennet de Ridder, chairman of the commission. Col. Shaul Ramati, chief Israel delegate, listed more than a score of incidents in recent weeks and called for action to prevent further attacks, looting and murders.
