Israel received the first three of a new fleet of advanced U.S.-made helicopter gunships. Three Apache Longbow helicopters arrived in Ramon air base Sunday, to be renamed Tzira, or Hornet, by the Israeli air force. Another 17 of the helicopters, costing $32 million apiece, are to be delivered in coming months.
