Israel Signs $4,000,000 Commercial Pact with Hungary; is Based on Barter Trading

A $4,000,000 commercial agreement between Hungary and Israel was signed in Budapest last night, it was officially announced here today. The one-year pact provides for the Jewish state’s importing essential raw materials and foodstuffs from Hungary and exporting to that country citrus products, industrial diamonds, artificial dentures and wood products.

Barter trade between Israel and overseas countries reached a $1,000,000 volume during June, it was announced today.
