Israel to U.N.: End terror, get peace
Israel urged the United Nations to stand against terrorism and for peace. In his address to the U.N. General Assembly, Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom universalized Israel’s plight. “Terrorism has declared war on us all,” he said, but “Israel has often stood alone in this battle.”
