Israeli and Palestinian troops confronted one another over construction at a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian officials claimed that Jewish settlers in the Alei Sinai settlement expanded the perimeter fence. In response to the incident, Israel denied Palestinian trucks entry from Gaza into Israel.
