One of four Israeli Arabs accused of spying for Syria pleaded guilty today in Haifa district court and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.

The convicted spy, Ahmed Khalil Saadi, 33, was arrested in April and charged with conspiring to collect information and photographs for the Syrians. The trial of the other three defendants, accused on similar grounds, continued today. Police reported finding ammunition and grenades in possession of the four Israeli Arabs.
