Israeli defense officials believe terrorist networks affiliated with Al Qaida already exist in Israel as well as the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz quoted a senior security source as saying it is not yet clear how prepared the cells are to carry out large-scale terror attacks.
