Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres denied a report in the British journal Foreign Report that said the Israeli military submitted a plan to the Cabinet to send 30,000 troops into Palestinian-ruled areas if there is another large-scale Palestinian terror attack. Peres said no such plan was ever submitted or discussed, describing the report as the product of a “fertile imagination.”
