Israel’s former Chief of Staff, General Chaim Laskov, participated in ceremonies here marking Israel’s 13th anniversary. At an Israel Appeal dinner last night, at which 38,000 pounds were raised, General Laskov said that Israel must match Nasser’s quantitative rearming with qualitative preparedness. Independence Day receptions were tendered today by Israel Minister Moshe Yuval in Canberra and at the Consulate General here.
