Questions concerning the security of Israel were discussed here today for several hours at a joint meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committees of Parliament. Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett and Army Chief of Staff Yigal Yadin participated in the discussion.
The Israel Government is aware of the extent of rearming among the neighboring Arab countries, Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett declared in the Knesset last night. He added that the government was “drawing its conclusions” about the situation.
