Israel’s Sephardi chief rabbi, Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron, is slated to attend an interfaith conference this week in Morocco, according to the Israeli daily Ma’ariv. Representatives of Judaism, Christianity and Islam are scheduled to discuss how their religious leaders can help forge world peace. While in Morocco, Bakshi-Doron is expected to visit the Jewish communities of Casablanca and Rabat.
