Israel’s Shin Bet domestic security agency has softened some of its interrogation methods, according to a lawyer for a Palestinian detained by the agency. The Supreme Court has been hearing an appeal against the Shin Bet’s interrogation methods by human rights groups. Shin Bet officials have argued that their methods are crucial for obtaining information about planned terrorist attacks.
