Forty Jewish community leaders from five West European countries agreed here that they must intensify building and expanding the programs of Jewish community centers in their areas.
The decision was made at the conclusion of a two-day conference held here under the sponsorship of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Eleven Jewish communities sent representatives to the conference from Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Holland and France, All delegates to the conference reported that, wherever community centers have been established, the existing centers are crowded to capacity and their facilities are being used to the utmost.
