Jaffa Plans Expenditure of $1,500,000 in Ten Years

A ten year scheme involving the expenditure of $1,500,000 was submitted by the Jaffa municipality today in connection with its 1931 budget. Of this sum the city desires to borrow two-thirds and obtain the remainder by the sale of land and its annual grant-in-aid of $40,000.
