A reception in honor of Acting High Commissioner H. C. Luke was given Thursday night in the Sukka of Joseph Meyuchas, prosident of the Jerusalem Kehillah.
In his address. Mr. Meyuchas declared “the eyes of the whole world are upon Palestine.” Replying. Mr. Luke stated jocularly that sometimes he wished the eyes of the world were turned less to Palestine. In his address he thanked the Jewish representatives for cooperation with the government.
