The special meeting of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, for which the members have been recalled from their holidays, was opened here at four o’clock this afternoon. Mr. Nahum Sokolow, the President, Dr. Maurice B. Hexter, Dr. Selig Brodetsky, Dr. Werner Senator, Mr. Berl Locker, and ex-Deputy Farbstein are present, and Dr. Victor Jacobson, the Jewish Agency representative in Geneva, and Mr. M. M. Ussischkin, the head of the Jewish National Fund are expected to participate in the discussions. Mr. Ussischkin’s participation is required in view of the importance to the Jewish National Fund of the land and development questions which will come under discussion at the meeting.
