The statutes of the Agro-Bank, the purpose of which will be to assist the Jewish colonization work in Russia, were approved by the All Union Finance Commissariat.

The preliminary steps for the organization of an agricultural bank were made in Moscow last October. The statute concerning the establishment is now passing through the last stage of official ratification. The Russian Central Agricultural Bank promised to enter the Jewish Agricultural Bank as the largest shareholder.
