A decision to raise $1,000,000 during the coming year to aid the expansion program of the Histadruth in Israel was adopted here last night at the conclusion of a three-day national convention of the Canadian Association for Labor Palestine.
The convention adopted a resolution urging the Canadian Government to grant immediate recognition to Israel. More than 300 delegates attended the gathering. Dr. S.B. Hurwich of Toronto was re-elected national president of the organization.
