Josef Penizek, veteran Parliamentary reporter, and editor of the daily, “Narodny Listy,” died here today.
Penizek, who is descended from a Jewish family, Boehmen, attained the highest repute as a political journalist. Prior to the war, in recognition of his work in this direction, Penizek was made King’s Councillor. He was highly esteemed both in Austrian and Czechoslovakian journalistic circles.
