Jewish Weekly Banned in Italy

The Florence police today banned the only Jewish weekly in Italy, Israel, organ of the Italian Zionist Federation and of the Italian Union of Jewish Communities. Meanwhile, the Institute for Industrial Reconstruction was commissioned to settle the question of Jewish-owned property in Italy. Full right to decide whether Jewish athletes may be members of Italian sports organizations has been given to Achille Starace, Secretary of the Fascist Party.
