Jewish Youth Week Starts Today; Nationwide Observance Arranged

Jewish Youth Week will be ushered in tomorrow in communities across the nation with Jewish youth sabbaths, rallies, cultural festivals, youth forums and other events. The week is conducted annually by the National Jewish Youth Conference, which is sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board.

The purpose of Jewish Youth Week is to focus attention on the role, achievements and potentialities of Jewish youth in the growth and development of a creative, ”Jewish Youth – A Vital Force in the Community.” Hundreds of Jewish Community Centers. YMHAs, Jewish youth and young adult councils, and national Jewish youth organizations will participate in the observance of Youth Week.
