Jews Elect 5 Deputies to Latvian Parliament

Five Jewish deputies were returned to the Latvian parliament in the national elections held here yesterday.

The contest between the Mizrachi and the Agudah ended with a victory for the Mizrachi which gained two mandates at the expense of the Agudah. Those elected are Rabbi Nurok and Dr. Nurok, representing the Mizrachi; Prof. Lazarson, representing the Zeiri Zion, Mr. Dubin representing the Agudath Israel, and Dr. Maisel representing the Bund.
