A number of Jews were badly hurt and required medical attention as the result of an attack by Hitlerites here today. The trouble began today at the local bazaar when newsboys distributing Fascist leaflets started to ridicule passing Jews.
The anti-Semitic gibes later took the form of physical violence when a number of Hitlerites in the neighborhood joined the newsboys in attacking the Jews. Three of the Hitlerites were arrested.
