Jews of Indian descent in Israel celebrated their ancestry. Hundreds of Indian Jews, known as Bene Israel, celebrated Maharastra Day on Sunday to mark their region of origin in India. India’s ambassador to Israel, Arun Kumar Singh, spoke to the community, which gathered in the city of Lod.
