Joseph and Samuel Daroff Honored in Philadelphia on 65th Birthday

More than $500,000 in Israel bonds were raised at a dinner here sponsored by the Israel Bond Organization and honoring Joseph and Samuel Daroff, prominent Jewish leaders, on the occasion of their 65th birthday. The guests of honor were presented with paintings by the well-known Israeli artist Motke Blum of Jerusalem. Yissachar Ben-Yaacov, Israel’s Consul in Philadelphia, brought greetings from Israel President Zalman Shazar.
