Judge Joseph Sabath has been elected chief justice of the Superior Court of Cook County and will serve throughout 1934. The position is an important one since Judge Sabath is responsible for the court procedure and the assignment of sitting judges in all branches of that court in Cook County. Judge Sabath was elected to the Superior Court in 1916 and has occupied the post since that time.
