A deputation representing the Jewish communities in Jugoslavia was received by the Minister of Religions, Alaupovic, in connection with the new religious ordinance now being contemplated by the government.

The deputation asked that the ordinance also include the Jewish religion and that a standard treatment of Jewish religious matters be introduced in all parts of Jugoslavia. Under the present rules the administration of Jewish religious affairs varies in accordance with the county laws.
