Rep. Kenneth B.Keating, New York Republican, today urged the Justice Department to investigate propaganda activities of Arab students in the United States.

Addressing the House of Representatives, Rep. Keating charged that the Arab League has established a coast-to-coast “propaganda network” in this country through Arab student groups. He said there is evidence these activities are directed and financed by foreign governments and that the students should therefore be required to desist or be registered as foreign propaganda agents.

Rep. Keating reported to the House that there has been “a constant drum fire of anti-Jewish propaganda” and that the Arab students activities were “often anti-American.” He said “the taxpayers of America should no longer be forced to shell out for the sub rosa agents of foreign governments who enter this country under the guise of academic endeavors.’
