The foundation stone for the new building of the Jews’ Temporary Shelter for Transient Immigrants and others was laid yesterday by Albert Vandenburgh in the presence of the Chief Rabbi, Lionel Rothschild, Otto Schiff and Ernst Schiff. The building, costing $175,000 will be completed in March.
