Announcement has been made by Nathan L. Goldstein, president of B’nai Sholaum, the Ninth Street Temple, in Brooklyn, that a course of fourteen lectures, to be followed by discussion, will be given at the Temple on alternating Tuesday evenings. Rabbi B. Leon Hurwitz will deliver the lectures.
This series on “The Reconstruction of Judaism,” and based on Professor Mordecai M. Kaplan’s book, “Judaism as a Civilization,” has been arranged by the Adult Education Department of the Temple, of which Harry Rutenberg is chairman.
