Leon Dulzin, chairman of the World Zionist Organization and Jewish Agency Executives, cabled Zionist Federations all over the world today urging the Jewish people to express solidarity with the Israel government’s decision to invade Lebanon in what he called “the just fight … to put an end to the destruction and the bloodshed in Galilee.” Dulzin urged Jews to “unite today in the common task, bear the responsibility together and pray for the success” of the operation.
