See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

Declaring that the recent withdrawal of the American Jewish Committee from the American Jewish Conference was “not in the spirit of American life” and was “unwise and unstatesmanlike,” the board of directors of the Los Angeles Jewish Community Council at a special meeting here adopted a resolution calling upon the Committee to re-enter the Conference.

The resolution, which was adopted unanimously, was introduced by a special committee headed by Rabbi Jacob Kohn, and including Rabbi Edgar F. Mangin, Walter S. Hilborn and Mrs. Adolph Sieroty.
