Masaryk Colony Founded in Haifa Bay Region

Zionist youths founded a news colony in the Haifa Bay region of Palestine which will be named Kfar Meaaryk in honor of the late president former Czechoslovakia, labor Thomas G. Masaryk. The colony was started by 35 members of the Shomer Hatzair, labor Zionist youth organization, on 2,000 dunams of Jewish National Fund land. The settlement will eventually house 150 settlers.
