Materials for Israel, a group which has been in existence for ten years devoting itself to the raising of materials in this country for the Jewish State, will suspend its operations on March 31st, it was announced today by Rudolf G. Sonneborn, leader of the organization.
“The mission which we undertook ten years ago has been accomplished,” Mr. Sonneborn informed the 5,000 persons throughout the country who participated in the work of the group. He expressed the hope that each of the participants will continue to serve Israel “with the sacred devotion and zeal” that characterized his activity in the group which is now dissolving itself.
