Funeral services were held here yesterday afternoon for Max J. Skaist, veteran Zionist leader and outstanding member of the Jewish community here.
Rabbi Maxwell Farber of Pottstown, officiated. Mr. Skaist, who was one of the founders of the United Palestine Appeal, succumbed on Tuesday, following a long illness.
