Members of the largest organization of North American Jewish educators voted to focus on addressing the critical shortage of teachers and principals for Hebrew schools, day schools and other institutions. The vote at the 25th anniversary conference of the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education comes as the group tries to increase its role in influencing where Jewish money is spent.
