Morocco’s U.S. ambassador hosted a Chanukah celebration as a symbol of hope for the Middle East. Aziz Mekouar joined the American Jewish Committee in hosting the menorah lighting in his suburban Washington home. “Chanukah is the symbol of hope, so I wanted to convey a message of hope today,” Mekouar said.
