Morris Wolf Named to Philadelphia Trust Board

Morris Wolf, former assistant district attorney, was named a member of the Board of City Trusts by the Board of Judges of Common Pleas Court to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Justice Owen J. Roberts, who recently was elevated to the bench of the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Wolf was a former law partner of Judge Horace Stern before the latter went on the bench in Court of Common Pleas No. 2.

The Board of Judges also appointed Mrs. Jessie J. Schamberg a member of the Board of Visitation to institutions to which children are committed by the courts.

Mr. Wolf is a nephew of former State Senator Clarence Wolf and a brother of Edwin Wolf, formerly of the Board of Education. He was appointed as assistant district attorney in January, 1907, and in September, 1913 was named a deputy Attorney General by Attorney General John C. Bell.
