Most Israelis are pessimistic about the future and see no hope of peace with the Palestinians, according to a new poll. A new poll by the Israeli daily Yediot Achronot found that two-thirds of Israelis predict the intifada will continue or worsen in the coming year, and 43 percent said they are in “despair” about the country’s future. Asked if their children would see a better future, 73 percent said no.
