Mrs. Alex Stern, one of the most active social and philanthropic workers in the state of North Dakota, is dead here at the age of 60.
Besides her husband, an influential banker who formerly held the offices of Mayor of the City of Fargo, and trustee of the State Agricultural College, Mrs. Stern is survived by three sons William, Samuel and Edward.
