The meat factory in the city of Brunswick that supplies the warehouses of the Jewish-owned firms of Tietz, Karstadt and Schocken were raided today and 20,000 tons of meat confiscated as part of the National Socialist state government’s program of benefitting the small traders at the expense of the larger concerns.

The manager of the factory was arrested and the supervisor of another meat factory, M. Husemann, died suddenly of shock at the report of the raid.

In Ortelsburg, East Prussia, Selig Preuss, a Jewish merchant, and his son, were attacked and badly injured by a gang of Hitlerites today.
