New Anti-fascist Magazine, Equality, Makes Initial Appearance

The first issue of Equality, “a monthly journal to defend democratic rights and combat anti-Semitism and racism,” has made its appearance. The magazine lists an editorial council including Prof. Franz Boas, Dashiell Hammett, Moss Hart, Dorothy Parker, Prince Hubertus zu Loewenstein and others. The first issue features articles on William Dudley Pelley, anti-Semitism in Mexico and Sholom Aleichem’s 80th birth anniversary.
